Operations and Logistics

This event takes place in two locations: West Reading and the City of Reading. Kacey Lloyd manages all of the operational coordination between local entities to facilitate this event. Police, Medical, PennDOT, dozens of vendors, and local partners are all balanced leading into event day.

Creative Design and Marketing

Our media team is led by Gabe Lloyd for this project. Graphic design is coordinated and implemented across multiple deliverable needs from print to social media. The Photography and Video teams are assembled to cover the events with three photographers and two videographers. We have a dedicated social media account manager on-site for both days, as well.

City Park Dirt Course
We construct an MTB Short Course in City Park, Reading. Features include this 3′ drop off, with an alternative longer B-line.
This year, ABUS Helmets sponsored the Wheelie and Combos competition. The kids can ride wheelies for as long as they want, and they have a bunch of tricks that we use for a halftime show for West Reading. We love seeing this display of talent and we’re proud to create a platform for them to show it to the community.

West Reading Criterium
The Pro Men’s criterium is completely branded so all areas are photographable. This is an important aspect that we prioritize so sponsors get their maximum potential exposure in the post-event media.
Penske Drop Zone in City Park
Penske Truck Rental activated their sponsorship at the City Park Dirt Course with the Drop Zone. Pan American Champion, Curtis White of Jelly Belly Pro Cycling, is shown here dropping off the course feature.

The crowd in West Reading is amazing. With the support of the Reading Eagle and WEEU, they have leveraged their traditional media platforms to reach enthusiastic fans in the area.
